Rather antisocial person, he most likely isn't going ot jump at you at any given moment because you look so friednly, oh no, this little bellossom makes sure to stay hidden behind someone he already is comfortable with rather than show his magnificent face to you. And he doesn't speak, he's mute, of his own choice. So he can speak but he just chooses not to. If he does start speaking, he speaks very VERY silently, like tiny whispers, and he still has problems doing so because he gets so awfully nervous if he tries to get started with speaking to you.
Most of the times he finds other people uncomfortable to be with and doesn't approach without there being a reason necessary enough for him to do so. H as a hard time trying to trust people first off, it might even last for a long time that he doesn't trust someone, even if they were close to him.
Loyal, trustworthy and a sweet little thing(sometimes) once you actually have succeeded on getting on the comfortable zone of his friendshippo.
Often says things the opposite way he means them if he speaks up. if not, you'll just receive a lot of frowny pouts.

Piip had long time ago lost connection to his parents. He was too young back then to really know what the reason was that had taken his parents away from him. And he still doesn't know. Gladly though he wasn't left without shelter, or someone to raise him in safety. There were some relatives who lived in Vennephi, who had the possibility to travel to Elpis for help, or so he was told. What ever was the truth, he didn't honestly know. But he did know that the people he lived and still lives with, are his aunt and uncle.
Because he had become so silent and almost never spoke, the couple had gotten worried and really didn't know what to do to brighten him up, seemed like nothing helped to brighten the little kid's mind from the loss of his real parents being around.
Until one day he himself was walking outside on a field, it was green and the weather was nice, summer breeze refreshing the air. It was nice but the little guy didn't seem to show even the slightest of joy in himself. Then like out of nowhere a flower jumped at him, which was startling, because flowers don't jump...? True, but on closer investigation the flower was actually a little bellossom that was seeking for company for itself to be with. The bellossom amused Piip overall and he actually started to show a small smile everytime the bellossom made a little twirl and danced around the little boy's legs.
After that day of their meeting, many years passed while their bond grew stronger, Piip's uncle and aunt were obviously very stunned of how much such a little pokemon could cheer the boy so.
Even though he still didn't speak up to anyone else than his uncle and aunt, it had been a big change in his, and the bellossom's life, that they had met. They both had found friends of eachothers and just so happened on one day that felt as great as any, that their thoughts were almost perfectly linked and there was no parting them in anyway, it was as if the two of them were the same, yet so different, because the other was a pokemon, and the other was a human.
Near the end of that day, they had one of their deep bonding moments they liked to enjoy of every now and then together to keep themselves reminded of how great gifts they have been to eachothers. And unlike the other bonding times, it felt like there was something more in this one, it was just a feeling inside one's chest, but neither figured why it would be, until their minds crossed over to the thought they had only been joking about before, or rather, Piip had joked about, and the bellossom had just been cheerfully reacting to those jokes. About becoming one, was the idea.
But because they weren't sure about the decision yet, there were few days after that that the two of them just spent like any other day, and then returned to the topic thanks to Piip getting all up cheerfully from his bed one day and swinging his bellossom partner in the air in circles and repeating how he really wanted to be one with the bellossom, it was such an exciting idea and he had thought about it well for these past days, enough to now want it more than anything. And because the bellossom really had nothing against it, rather the opposite, it so happened that day that they fused together and started from that time to try and learn to live as the new being they were together. Which was at times problematic to Piip because he hadn't expected to get huge flowers on his head that would drive awfully lot attention to him. But since he had himself so wanted for this, he had to learn to live with it.
Few more years passed and Piip had gotten more used to being half a flower and half the person he used to be. He had achieved the job of an empath and trained well in certain areas of the Elpis woods. Untill one day he found a passed out ranger from the older forests, where many didn't dare to walk. He saw it to be his own responsibility to care for this man until he would wake up and get healthier from his current state, later the man woke up at a more lighter place and introduced himself to the little empath. And after some moments had passed, the blonde ranger requested Piip to escort him to his house, which of course the empath agreed to because he actually somewhat felt worried over the man for he had after all found him in the forests. So after the one task given, he was asked for another one. And every now and then Piip would visit the ranger who lived deep in the old forests, to make sure the man was doing well and in case he needed more escorting. It started to more seem like he was living in the ranger's house half the time, which didn't gladly much bother Imlar because company was always welcome to him, and he could just fine afford to feed such a tiny person as Piip himself was.
And he still works with Imlar. Not all the time, but very often, because Imlar needs the empath to help him around.

-and the flowers close when he goes to sleep.
-and those dark marks on his cheeks are there to stay. he doesn't like them either. :I
